Zetech University Alumni Association recently held the Virtual Alumni Connect 2025, on Friday 29th August 2025, a networking forum that convened alumni, graduands and industry stakeholders under the theme “Thriving in Turbulence: Building Professional Resilience and Adaptability.” The event provided a reflective yet forward-looking space for alumni to engage critically with the pressing challenges of the contemporary professional landscape.

The Guest Speaker, Ms Dolly Sagwe, Finance Director at Oracle Africa delivered an incisive keynote address that examined the multifaceted realities of the 21st-century workplace. Key areas of focus included the evolving dynamics of organisational culture, strategies for positioning oneself competitively in the job market, and the imperative of diversifying skill sets.

The conversation evolved around adapting to emerging trends in the global economy. With job markets growing ever more crowded, graduates are urged to refine their personal brand, combining technical mastery with leadership presence, robust networks, and clarity in communicating their unique value. This strategic positioning empowers graduates to stand out and seize opportunities in a constantly shifting marketplace.

Zetech University Alumni Association continues to provide platforms that connect graduates with industry, foster lifelong learning, and strengthen professional networks. Through such forums, the Association not only nurtures a vibrant alumni community but also reinforces the University’s commitment to producing adaptable, innovative, and industry-ready leaders.
