Mark Kimondo Gitau, Zetech University Alumnus and a dynamic voice making waves in the international media space, has been named Radio Journalist of the Year 2024.
Mark's journey in journalism began in 2018 after earning a Diploma in Communication and Media Studies from Zetech University. His passion, talent, and outspoken nature quickly set him apart, landing him a role at Hope FM.
In 2021, his dedication caught the attention of Radio Africa Group, where he now serves as a journalist for Radio Jambo and Classic FM. In addition to these, Mark also does news for Kiss FM and Homeboyz radio.
A true enthusiast of news and podcasts, Mark’s zeal for storytelling and impactful
journalism continues to shine, earning him this prestigious recognition.
Beyond his career, Mark remains an ambassador of Zetech University, where he
recently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. As
he continues to shape the future of media, he proudly carries the spirit of a
Techizen—innovating and excelling both on and off the airwaves.

We are proud to announce the official certification of the Zetech University Alumni Association, which has a network of over 70,000 members, by the Registrar of Societies.
The first order of business for the association will be to activate the Alumni Endowment Fund to support bright but needy students of Zetech University.
